加蒂纳拉气候是典型的皮埃蒙特丘陵区气候。由于存在逆温现象，这里的气候远比平原地区温和。春冬季节，每天来自阿尔卑斯山的下行气流产生了良好的对流效果，十分有益于葡萄植株的生长。这种丘陵地带极少有雾，一年中仅有几天，且高度绝对不会超过300米，这使得葡萄能够全年保持干燥和健康。冬季，大量雨雪亦有助于减缓土壤的沉降速度。这些都是意大利及世界其它葡萄产区极其罕见的天气特点，这使得格天那葡萄酒具备了独一无二的品质，并由此带来层次丰富的嗅觉体验。毋庸置疑，顶级葡萄酒必须配备同样顶级的酒瓶。因此，早在1958年，特拉法利尼酒庄就创造了一件伟大的艺术品：一款与全球最顶级餐厅匹配的创意葡萄酒瓶，由此，在“滗析”过程中，格天那葡萄酒中经多年陈酿产生的天然沉淀物就能得以完整保留。
