Located in the heart of Gattinara, Travaglini was established in the 1920s by Clemente Travaglini. In 1958 Arturo Travaglini followed in his father’s footsteps and took over the helm at the winery. The family’s passion and commitment to winemaking has not diminished through the generations. Throughout the years, Travaglini has established itself in Gattinara as the most esteemed producer of traditional, limited-production wines from the Nebbiolo grape. Travaglini wines illustrate the full range of expressions Nebbiolo can achieve.

Travaglini Gattinara Riserva is a limited edition. It is only produced during the best harvests. Only a few thousand bottles are produced. this wine is the fruit of an extremely careful selection of grapes from vines located in excellent positions with the best sun exposure. The grapes are then sent for maceration and ageing separately from the rest of the crop. The Gattinara Riserva, with its superior elegant bottle, is a world class wine, receiving much prestigious recognition.

Vinification: Macerated for about 14 days in stain-less steel tanks at controlled temperature. This wine is aged for 4 years.
Ageing: 3 years in Slavonian oak casks of different sizes then in the bottle for 12 months.

Colour: A deep pomegranate red wine.
Taste: Fresh, with silky tannins and a long and smooth finish.
