Thinly sliced, seasoned with extra virgin olive oil and lemon, on a bed of rocket and melon wedges, it is an excellent appetizer. In strips, together with chopped almonds and pieces of fennel, with extra virgin olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper, it is the delicious dressing of a cold pasta salad.
