Ever since the 1970s, Tenuta S. Anna has been stretching the limits of innovation. The care put into selecting the varietal wine, into making the most of the territory as the focal point of continuing research, the attention to detail, all constitute the foundations on which Tenuta S. Anna has modelled its success.

The tradition goes on, and it is this perpetual innovative motion that is the guiding force behind the Azienda because, in order to be really and truly enterprising, there has to be a historical background. The fruits of the vine transformed into precious liquid nectar. Aromas, flavors, the genuine charm of the earth elements captured and contained in every glass. Working in the vineyards alternates with the application of refined enological techniques and artisan know-how, combined with ongoing research to produce alluring, sensational wines while maintaining respect for man and his environment.

A grape-variety originating from the region of Bordeaux, this vine is cultivated with excellent results also in Italy, especially in the north-east. In the clayey terrain of the eastern part of the Veneto region it has found a particularly propitious habitat due to the differences in temperature between night and day that maintain its extraordinary wealth of aromas intact.

Vinification: The grapes are harvested at night or at the first light of dawn when the cool temperatures help preserve the principal aromas of the fruit. After being subjected to cold-soaking, the grapes are gently pressed and the must obtained is transferred to steel vats for the process of alcoholic fermentation.
Ageing: The wine is left on the yeasts for about three months before being bottled.

Colour: Straw-yellow color with green tints.
Taste: On the palate the flavor is sapid and slightly acidulous, delicate with faint traces of pepper.
Aroma: The bouquet is generous and pronounced with aromas of wild flowers, ripe melon and peppers.
