Franciacorta is the first Italian wine produced using the method of a secondary fermentation in the bottle (traditional method), obtaining the D.O.C.G. appellation. Aurum Millesimato is obtained from grapes harvested during only the very best years, from the best vines. It is composed of Chardonnay, giving it its elegance and refinement, and Pinot Noir, offering structure and vinosity. This union and the careful pressing, as well as its distinguishing golden colour, give rise to an unmistakable, unique wine. It has a soft and creamy froth with continuous, thin perlage. Our Aurum is a vintage, thereby giving it a sensory and flavoursome character that reflects, above all, the climate conditions and the quality of the grape pressing from that year's harvest. The meticulous selection of grapes from vines on the most sun-drenched hills, in conjunction with the use of the most innovative technology, has led La Montina to produce excellent wines with a strong character.
