Schidione IGT 2001 Jacopo Biondi Santi - Top Super Tuscan!
Jacopo Biondi Santi could quite easily have decided to maintain a glorious family heritage which dates back to the 1800’s, when his great-grandfather Ferruccio Biondi Santi created Brunello di Montalcino. But instead he chose to adopt the enterprising spirit of his ancestors to breathe life into new traditions with contemporary style wines. To accomplish his ambitious aims, he created new operating premises inside the magnificent Montepo’ Castle, in the Tuscan Maremma. There he cultivates autochthonous and international varieties for wines that express the vigorous individuality of a man determined to build the future of his family, making it even brighter than in the past.
