Trabucchi d’Illasi is a well-known name to Amarone lovers. Located in Illasi, a small town just outside of Verona, Italy. The winery produces stunning wines including Amarone della Valpolicella, Recioto della Valpolicella, Recioto di Soave, Passito di Garganega and many more.
Amarone - "Terre del Galante" derives its name from the Trabucchi family's vineyard in which it is grown. "Galante" is the Italian for "Gentle" and indicates the gentleness, elegance and balance embodied by this wine, obtained only from grapes withered on bamboo racks. The Trabucchi family's organic grapes further characterise our Amarone which, by stimulating the body's sensory receptors, induces a sensation of physiological, sensory and intellectual well-being. The variety of grapes, which is due to the different altitudes of the terrain, increases the variations in the wine's fragrances and flavours, just like in a musical symphony.
