Philibon Extra Quality Melon
It's melon with firm texture, very juicy, bright orange-red in color, with a very sweet flavor (thanks to a high natural sugar content) and with a distinctive aroma and taste pleasantly persistent. Contains nutrients such as vitamin C, beta-carotene (pro-vitamin A) and in particular lycopene, which, in addition to characterize the color, are considered to be among the most 'important and active antioxidants to be introduced with the diet.
With a weight between 1-1.5 kg, clear and smooth skin. The flesh is firm, bright orange colour, a good flavour characteristics with particular aroma.
Melon with Prosciutto: the classic Italian combination exists for a reason: the saltiness and fatty smooth texture of prosciutto and the watery sweet melon temper each other perfectly.
Frappè with Melon and Strawberries: free 200 g of strawberries from the stem, wash and frullate with the flesh of the melon. Combine it with lemon ice cream and continue to blend for a few seconds.
Serve the milkshake in cold glasses.
Parma Ham with Pepper Melon salad: drip the mozzarella buttermilk, cut a little 'cubes and a little' slices. Cut the melon pulp into small pieces and transfer to a bowl. Add the strawberries washed and cut into small pieces, mozzarella, a sprinkling of basil leaves, a pinch of pepper, salt, a little oil and stir gently. Abbrustolisci the bread in a preheated oven condiscilo immediately with a drizzle of olive oil, distribute the slices of ham on toasted bread, the salad with strawberries and serve immediately, until the bread is still warm.
